Cute as a button

Seriously - this face just kills me. One shot in the car (of course) and the other after a big dinner, which is mostly all over his face.

Chariots of fire

Jack looooooves this car wagon, but he's decided he's too cool to sit. Now he likes to ride it standing up. Sorry my videography isn't great - it's hard to push and hold the camera! :) Between his grunts you can hear the car horn squeaking. His budha belly keeps bumping it.

Vacation in Utah

Well, we've been here a week and a half - a little over a week left. We've been having so much fun, though I can't say the same for Pete. I think he's a little lonely. Although he had pancakes with friends this morning and is now at the movies. I guess he's not suffering too much.

Here are some pics of our adventures. Jack looooves the water and he loves being outside at the farm. The dogs he hated in the beginning he now loves being around. His favorite toy is the car wagon. He protests every time I take him out.

He now has 2 bottom teeth and his 2 top should be in any day now. He's starting to move along furniture a little better, but I promised Pete that I wouldn't let him walk until we got home. :)

Jumpin' Jack

We've had a lot of big boy moments this week. Jack's first little tooth finally came through, he climbed the first stair and promptly fell off, and he learned to pull himself up to everything. His favorite is daddy's laptop - which I think he knows he's not supposed to play with. He waits until Pete is away from it and then he makes his move.
Yesterday Pete was playing music on the laptop and we caught Jack groovin' like a pro. :) My apologies for the turned video in the middle. We haven't found editing software yet.

Independence Babe

Pete had to work on the 4th so we went to a July 3rd celebration with some friends (Kyle & Janet). It was about 100 degrees, but fun!

Cat attack

As you can see, Jack has discovered a new set of toys: the cats' food and water. The poor cats have to choose their meal time carefully. He's like a crocodile, he waits for his prey to go to the watering hole and then he attacks! :)

Now that Jack is a little older and wiser, we arranged a rematch between him and his stuffed nemesis. Jack definitely came out victorious on this one. :)

Crawls

So, I don't have any pics or video of it, but I just wanted to put out there that our little man is sooooo close to crawling. He is getting good at getting onto his knees. Now he just needs to put it into motion. In the meantime he loves scooting around on his bum to get where he wants. :) I'll post video as soon as the crawl is complete!
In other news - Pete started his Senior year of school. We're very excited to have just one year to go. It feels good.
